O God, who giveth us abundant joys through the merits of blessed Lawrence, grant, we pray, the salutary effect of pleading with you as he knew how to plead (mention your request).
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
