To the martyr of the arrows, we ask protection against plague and illness, and strength in faith.

Glorious Saint Sebastian, brave and faithful martyr, you who suffered for Christ without fearing the arrows of persecutors, intercede for me before the throne of God.
Obtain for me the grace of (mention your request) and the courage to remain faithful to Jesus in every trial.
Glorious Saint Sebastian, pray for us. Amen.

In times of epidemic, in serious illness, on January 20 (feast of St. Sebastian), or when asking for protection and perseverance in faith.
