Prayer to the Immaculate Conception

To the Mother of God conceived without sin, we ask purity of heart and intercession with Christ.

O God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin prepared a fit dwelling place for your Son, grant, we pray, that, as you preserved her from every stain by virtue of the death of your Son, which you foresaw, so, through her intercession, we, too, may be cleansed and admitted to your presence (mention your request).
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
When to pray
On December 8 (Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception), in Marian devotions, in times of conversion, or when seeking the intercession of the all-pure Virgin.
