To the acolyte martyr who defended the Eucharist with his life, we ask reverence for the Blessed Sacrament.

O God, who granted blessed Tarcisius the grace to defend the Body of Christ with heroic fidelity, grant, through his intercession, that we may love the Eucharist above all things and witness to the faith with courage (mention your request).

On August 15 (memorial of St. Tarcisius), for acolytes and Eucharistic ministers, at Eucharistic retreats, or when seeking growth in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
