To the apostle called the Zealot, we ask zeal for the Church and fidelity to the roots of the Gospel.

O God, who by the blessed Apostles Simon and Jude have consecrated for us the beginnings of the Church, grant, we pray, that the Church may remain forever in the foundation she received through these Apostles (mention your request).
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
