Prayer to Saint George

To the warrior saint and martyr, we ask protection against evil, courage in life's battles, and grace to open paths.

O God, who didst grant to Saint George strength and constancy in the various torments which he sustained for our holy faith, we beseech Thee that, through his intercession, we may endure all afflictions with courage and share in his triumphs.
Saint George, heroic Catholic soldier and defender of the Faith, pray for us, that we may be worthy to suffer and die for Jesus Christ.
Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

In moments of danger, difficulty, on April 23 (feast of St. George), or when asking for protection and courage.
