To the saint of the sick and pilgrims, we ask protection against plague and disease.

Glorious Saint Roch, who by your intercession obtained from God the gift of healing the sick and protecting cities from plague, I ask you to intercede for me before the throne of God (mention your request) and deliver me from every evil and danger.
Saint Roch, pray for us. Amen.

On August 16 (feast of St. Roch), in times of epidemic, for the sick, or for those traveling on pilgrimage.
