Almighty ever-living God, whose Son graciously came as a guest into the house of Martha, give us, we pray, the grace to serve him faithfully and love him ardently (mention your request). Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
