On the solemnity of Mary's Assumption, body and soul, into heaven, we ask grace to live attentive to the things above.

Almighty ever-living God, who assumed the Immaculate Virgin Mary, the Mother of your Son, body and soul into heavenly glory, grant, we pray, that, always attentive to the things above, we may be worthy to share in her glory (mention your request).
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
When to pray
On August 15 (Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary), in Marian devotions, at the start of August, or when entrusting needs to the glorified Mother of God.
