Saint Thomas the Apostle
Feast day: July 3
One of the Twelve who professed «My Lord and my God» before the risen Christ.

Thomas, also called Didymus, was one of Jesus's twelve apostles. John's Gospel records his profession of faith after touching the marks of the Resurrection.
Tradition holds he evangelized India, founding the Church of Malabar.
He died a martyr — tradition points to death by spear in Mylapore, India.
His liturgical feast is July 3. He is invoked by those seeking firm faith amid doubt.
