Rosary
The Rosary is contemplative prayer that walks through the mysteries of Christ's life at Mary's side. It is among the Church's most beloved Marian devotions.
How to pray: hold the rosary, make the Sign of the Cross, pray the Creed, one Our Father, three Hail Marys (faith, hope, and charity), the Glory Be, and announce the first mystery.
For each mystery: 1 Our Father, 10 Hail Marys, 1 Glory Be; meditate on the Gospel scene before beginning.
Joyful Mysteries (Mondays and Saturdays): 1) Annunciation; 2) Visitation; 3) Nativity; 4) Presentation; 5) Finding in the Temple.
After the five mysteries, pray the Hail Holy Queen and an optional closing prayer. The full Rosary also includes the Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious mysteries on other weekdays.
