To the prince of the apostles and rock of the Church, we ask for firm faith and obedience to Christ.

O glorious Saint Peter, prince of the apostles, who by thy strong and generous faith, thy profound humility, and thy burning love wast honored by Jesus Christ with the primacy among the apostles, pray for us (mention your request). Obtain for us grace to persevere in faith and to obey faithfully the Vicar of Christ on earth. Amen.
