To the mother persevering in prayer, we ask grace for the conversion of children and peace in families.

O God, who didst hear the prayers and tears of blessed Monica and, through her intercession, didst grant not only the conversion but also the shining holiness of her son Augustine, grant us, we pray, the same mercy, that with her we may obtain the salvation of our children and our own sanctification (mention your request).
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

On August 27 (feast of Saint Monica), for children, spouses, or family members distant from faith, or in any need of conversion.
