To the missionary martyr, we ask courage in evangelization and fidelity to Christ.

O God, who through the preaching and martyrdom of blessed Kilian and his companions brought the light of faith to the Germanic peoples, grant that, through their intercession, we may remain faithful to the gospel you have proclaimed.
