To the archangel messenger of the Annunciation, we ask docility to God's will and courage in mission.

O God, who from among all your angels chose the Archangel Gabriel to announce the mystery of your Incarnation, grant that we who solemnly recall him on earth may feel the benefit of his patronage in heaven (mention your request).
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
