Novena to Saint Lucy

Pray one day at a time for nine consecutive days. Each day, say the day's invocation and the prayer to St. Lucy. --- DAY ONE — Light of faith O St. Lucy, virgin and martyr, enlighten my faith that I may believe firmly in Christ. St. Lucy, pray for us who have recourse to thee, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ, that seeing with the eyes of the body the path of this life, we may also with the eyes of the soul behold God in eternity. Amen. --- DAY TWO — Health of the eyes O St. Lucy, obtain the grace of healthy sight for me (or for N.). St. Lucy, pray for us who have recourse to thee, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ, that seeing with the eyes of the body the path of this life, we may also with the eyes of the soul behold God in eternity. Amen. --- DAY THREE — Purity O St. Lucy, guard my eyes and my heart in purity.
