The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
In verdant pastures he gives me repose;
beside restful waters he leads me; he refreshes my soul.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
You spread the table before me in the sight of my foes;
you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Only goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for years to come.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be. Amen.
