Before sleep, a moment to thank God for the day, ask forgiveness, and entrust rest to him.

Guard us, Lord, as we stay awake; watch over us as we sleep, that awake, we may keep watch with Christ, and asleep, rest in his peace.
Lord, I thank you for the gifts of this day. Forgive me my sins. Into your hands I commend my spirit.
Amen.
